Taiwan Immigration
There are many options which Taiwan law provides its tourists and it depends on the purpose and the period for which one wants to spend some time in Taiwan. The Taiwanese immigration ministry decides about the entry of a foreign national on its land.
US citizens can enjoy an entry in Taiwan without any visa but their stay is limited only up to 30 days. If a tourist wants to stay for six months, then he should have a confirmed return ticket with him. If someone wants to stay for more than 30 days, then the landing visa is available by paying a nominal amount.
